The owner of this single family residence wanted to create a private oasis for relaxation and entertainment. Three terraced spaces with meaningful transitions where designed to define a pool area, a fireplace area and a barbecue area. Extensive planting buffers and landscape mounds were incorporated in order to achieve privacy and definition while highlighting the native New England landscape that surrounds the property. Other design features included pergolas, decorative paving, fountains, and efficient landscape lighting and irrigation.
