changes in the planning context for part of the
original MHP planning area, comprised of 12 acres
along the Fort Point Channel. Changes from the original
MHP include a recent master planning effort, the
100 Acres Master Plan, currently in review by the

Harwich, MA
Working with a coalition of
neighborhood activists, The Cape Cod Commission,
and the Association for the Preservation of Cape
Cod, The Cecil Group is helping to create a vision
and implementation plan for this fast-growing commercial
center to alleviate increasing traffic congestion
and impacts on groundwater. Client: Town of East

Providence Redevelopment and
TIF Plan
Providence, RI
In one of the first major urban
initiatives in New England since Kelo v. New London,
The Cecil Group has prepared a Redevelopment Plan
for the City of Providence's Downtown. The Plan
will fund significant parking, street, riverwalk,
and landscape improvements. Client: Providence Redevelopment

Bourne Mill Master Plan
Tiverton, RI
Master Planning for a mill
complex in the Town of Tiverton. With structures
dating back to the 19th century, the complex enjoys
direct frontage on Cook Pond. The Armory Revival
Company, Inc. is undertaking its renovation and
adaptive reuse, with The Cecil Group providing a
guide to said adaptation. Client: Armory Revival

Boston Neighborhoods, MA
Design services as part of
the Boston Main Streets Program to improve the appearance
and visual identity of local businesses through
storefront and signage enhancements. Façade
redesign efforts include new windows, doors, parapets,
lighting, signage, and color schemes. Services include
meeting with storeowners, developing design alternatives,
and providing cost estimates. Client: Boston Main
